Home Improvement Scheme vouchers for homeowner-occupiers

The Home Improvement Scheme will be available from 20 February 2017, allowing eligible homeowner-occupiers a voucher to get work done on their home.

The scheme is part of the government plan to support local jobs and is complementary to the $22 million Immediate Works Stimulus Package

From 20 February 2017, the Northern Territory Government will give eligible homeowner-occupiers a voucher to get work done on their home.

The voucher will be worth up to $4,000 and can go towards jobs of up to $20,000.

Homeowners will still need to pay for at least half of the job themselves.

Homeowners who have previously received a voucher through the Home Improvement Scheme, will be eligible to apply again. The second voucher can be up $2,000.

Eligible homeowners who have not received a voucher through the Home Improvement Scheme are able to apply for a voucher of up to $4,000. To find out more go to the Home Improvement Scheme website
