Developing our economic future

The Northern Territory Government has released its draft Economic Development Framework prior to the final Darwin and Alice Springs economic summits.

The draft document has been co-designed and developed in consultation with business and industry, Indigenous leaders, community stakeholders, non-government and government representatives.

An External Reference Group of business and community leaders also contributed to its development. More than 600 people have been involved in the consultation process so far.

Discussion drafts of the NT Government’s Infrastructure Strategy and 10 Year Infrastructure Plan have also been released for feedback.

The three draft documents will be discussed at two economic summits in Alice Springs this Friday and in Darwin next week.

To attend one of the summits or provide feedback go to the Economic Summits website. All documents are open to public feedback until 3 April 2017.
