Legislation allows elected health and safety representatives (HSR) to undergo training that complies with workplace health and safety regulations otherwise known as the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
The HSR initial five day course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to enable them to fulfil the role of HSR as set down in section 72 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.

HSRs are elected employees in organisations to represent the health and safety interests of workers within their workplace. This will give them knowledge of what their responsibilities are and an understanding of how the legislation works.
Eve Somsich is a NT WorkSafe approved health and safety representative trainer with extensive experience teaching in the vocational education and training sector.
Venue: Papulu Apparr-Kari Aboriginal Corporation, 17 Windley Street, Tennant Creek
Note: this is a five day course and will be run from Monday to Friday. All days are mandatory for successful completion of the course.
